After you fix the installation error 1609 trying to install eTakeoff Dimension on a computer that is configured for another language other than English, you may receive the following message trying to open the application.
The message indicates that you do not have permission to access the folder: "C:\ProgramData\eTakeoffProjects" where the eTakeoff database files are located. If you click on the desktop Folder, "eTakeoff Projects", you'll probably get a permission error.
You will need to correct the permissions issue. Once eTakeoff is allowed to open that folder and access those files, it will open.
