With concurrent licensing, licenses are dynamically allocated to PCs when Dimension starts and are released when eTakeoff closes after the "Check Interval" time has passed.

Under normal checkout, the checked out licenses are "renewed" periodically. (Extended checkout does not do renewal.) The period between renewals is known as the "Check Interval".

The default checkout interval is 600 seconds (ten minutes). So if a user closes Dimension, it would be ten minutes before the license was freed up. To change the check interval for concurrent licenses, do the following:

• Click on File / Administration
• Hold down the "Shift" key and click on "Manage Concurrent Licenses"
• An edit control for the check interval will be displayed below the license list.

The lowest interval you can designate is 60 seconds (1 minute).
